Artillery...Yes or No???
I am of the opinion that artillery is relatively a low skill unit that take almost no practice to make many kills... As it stands in this particular tournament as it has been previously set up it is allowed...However if you go to almost any thread in CWC or any tournament where negotiating rules is an option it ia almost always BANNED by both sides... My question here is how do the participants here feel about artillery use??? The rules here will not be negotiable and as I see it personally artillery does not add to the skill required to win...Please respond as if there is consensus this rule will be changed, or if our mini community here wishes, it will be kept... i think definitly NO! in battles with art it generaly luck decides who ll win because its radomized if the onager hits the opponent one or not

I tend to agree BUT there are two things that are a pain in the butt and don't necessarily require a lot of skill to get good results with Art & Eles yes i know eles require skill to use well - but lets face it - keep them back - charge them through a melee and you have a huge advantage - and don't tell me fire arrows will fix it - sometimes they work quickly enough and sometimes they dont - however art with fire usually sorts it so - the point If no art , maybe no eles either which seems to be the usual combination anyway both in negotiated tournament play and in social games just a thought Strength & honour to you all

good point sparhawk. its hard to kill eles without art but not impossible. 8)

Good point Sparhawk. We play with no art and no eles. Eles are a pain and cause huge amounts of damage, but they are damn expensive and you can lose them very quickly
