This is problem for all TW community I think. First of all everone should watch the Repleys from the last match USA vs Poland < www.diego.ebig.pl/USAvPL3.rpy >. In the few words I can say that you had 15 cavalery units (8 katafraths + 7 heavy cav wich have missilies). In the game wich was played few minutes ago you lost it with Britain wich had 8 meele charitos and 6 missiles chariots. And now you says this isn't good ? Why you haven't said this in the start of the game ? Why you haven't said "rehost" ? And the most IMPORTANT, WHY YOU CAN"T LOSE WITH HONOUR ? WHY YOU MUST USE THAT ADMIN'S HERE ARE FROM USA ?

What Tournament have's rule that when one of the Finalist will won one battle it win's and second must won both ? I said you must win 2, as in 2 series m8. This is double elimination tournament, and Team USA was undefeated. We had already beaten you once earlier in the tourney. Say me what here is wrong with Britain Army ? Mighty Charl. It's great to know how good this edition TWWC Champion's are. But ? Wait a sec... does real champion's makes things like that ? In first battle if we realy brake the rules, why you doesn't write that in the start of the game ? Why you doesn't said "rehost" ? First of all, I do not know well and in details what happened during final battles so I'll keep it behind. Congratulations for Poland and USA. But I can't stop myself from a small remark for a future. It's a matter of organization, though. Well, to be honest I've never seen a Final match/game that may end up with a draw coz one of the team doesn't need to win=draw is enough for them to get a gold medal. Of course, in many tournaments it happens that, in for example semi-final or quarter-final, one teem needs a draw and nothing else to proceed. But this rule DOES NOT relate to the final game. You must remember this, guys-organisators, for a future tournaments. If you remember, Charlemagne, World Cup 1974 in football (soccer) than you surely know that there was also used a system that you used in TWWC. In semi-finals Germany needed only a draw to get to the final but, well, the Final is always something different. In the Final the previous games do not count. Final means loser and winner. That's only my opinion, that you don't have to agree with, Charlemagne, but I think it would be much better to take it into consideration in next tournaments. Greetings, naiver

Thanks for your post Naiver. Although your point is one that could be considered valid, the rules for the tourney were posted before it began. Here they are as posted on August 4th, 2005: The TWWC will be run in a double elimination bracketed tournament. After having run through several options over the past week, this option is the most comprehensive that can be run within a reasonable ammount of time, while still allowing the majority of entered countries to play one another. My first choice was to have 1 pool with everyone playing each other than having the top 3 play off. However the time required to finish would imo be too much and would move well into BI release time. The reason they were'nt, is that Team USA had already beat them earlier in the tournament. Unfortunately Team Poland evidently did not read the in game rules, or the rules for the Tournament itself.... One last point Diego, is that I did ask your team to stop before the game began, to explain that Britain had broke the rules. Insted of stopping however, your team ignored me and continued to rush. Charlemagne but in tournament format we can find something like 16 Teams will move on to the main tournament (never more, never less) and will be faced off at random against another team where they will play a best of 3 series (first to win 2 games moves on) this format will continue until there is only 4 teams left. Once there is only 4 teams left, then again the 4 teams are randomly paired off against each other and play a best of 3 series, but if a team loses they will play again in the bronze medal game, and the winning countries will play in the gold medal game For me it means that eliminations and medal part of tourney are something completely different. FUrthermore in last part of rules we can clearly see that you have to play BEST OF 3 SERIE. As for now you played 2 battles and now time on battle 3.

Yeah, Charlemagne, I do realize well, that the rules were posted before the tourney which means that any team joining tournament had to accept it. It's obvious and I'm far from complaining about that. My post was some kind of summary, a remark for future. I personally think that this system is not among the best, coz we all expect a DECISIVE result in the Final. Wouldn't be better to do so in the NEXT tournament, Charlemagne? As I said I've never seen a competition in which the final game ended in a draw. Decisive final would leave absolutely no doubts who is better. At least, that's what I think. Regards

Thanks for your constructive posts Naiver. :) Part of playing tourneys for many is for the fun of it. It's issues like these that seem to perpetually come up that takes the fun completely out of playing. :( Many of us take our own personal time to run tourneys for the benefit of the community, and in the end we get accused of nonsense and foolishness by people who evidently have not even read the tournament rules. Just because someone is 14 or 15 does'nt mean they have to behave like it. Think about it...

Diego 4 things: 1. You are'nt even part of the Polish team 2. Please all the Polish team members and supporters read the rules and make sure you understand them before playing in any tournament. 3. Build any kind of faction you like as long as it 's within the rules. 4. Diego it was not very kool of you to insult members and applicants of my clan while we were playing Team Poland. Behavior like that only sours people who are actively playing the game. If there are any members of Team Poland who would like to raise an objection, please do so. Wishazu is the other member of staff here, and will judge impartially. The next time you all are asked something during the game or afterwards, don't ignore it. It's probably something that is very important. I have personally run into issues like this before with members of various clans during tourneys, including people from Poland. It's not only rude, but unsportsmanlike. During the beginning of the first game Team Poland completely ignored my request to "wait a sec", so I could explain Britain had broken the rules. Instead Team Poland chose to keep rushing. I could have dropped the game but instead chose to not to and bring it up immediately following. If this seems unsportsmanlike in any way, please accept my apology. I however think it is just as poor form to ignore someone when they are speaking to you, and then say things like: Btw. Also at the end of the game which we won, Feldmarshal chose to admit defeat quickly, congratulated us for winning the World Cup. I then asked were you going to forfeit the 3rd game and he said "you win the 3rd game and title". All the Polish team did'nt respond to my PM;s asking why they were forfeting the 3rd game instead responding in sarcastic comments. The tournaments held in TW should be about fair play and good sportsmanship. Last year when IPL beat RTK in the TWPL semifinals we simply congratulated them and took the loss. When the same happens to a Polish team, they complain and say that something is unfair. Several of us have spent much time setting up and trying to coordinate tourneys like this for the community, and it is extremely rude to have ones honesty questioned when the finals took place exactly according to the rules that were printed 6 months ago. I understand that Poland was disapointed that the tourney took place on 1.5 instead of 1.2 The decision was left to Wishazu, and whatever way he ruled on it Team USA was willing to accept. In the end we felt in order to practice for the final we had to have the games on 1.5 just so we could practice, as no one even has 1.2 anymore. In the end all we wished for in this tourney was farplay(according to the rules) and good sportsmanship. Only by following these guiding principles will tourneys continue to thrive in TW.
