Rome 1.2 is official setting
The TWWC will use Rome patch 1.2 through its conclusion. Those of you who intend to buy and install BI know that BI patches Rome to 1.3. In order to kepp a copy of Rome at 1.2, be sure to copy your Rome file before you install BI.

So it's not going to be changed to v1.3 when that is released for people without BI? Since it might get hard to get people to keep an old v1.2 install possibly just for this tourney.

All they need to so is make a copy of Rome before they download the 1.3 patch. They'll then have both 1.2 and 1.3 Cow.........

Yes I know, I'm just wanting to delete it at some stage in the future. :P

yes how can we play the tourney if we have b.i,peoples who still dont have b.i are not under the same patch :shock:

Ei Charlemagne, i think that its a mistake to play with 1.2....1.3 is much better than 1.2 and all of us can play at 1.3. More balanced, no cab spam...a lot of good thing that 1.2 haven,t.

Thanxx for the suggestion Relok!!! Due to BI and 1.3 being so new, it would not make a lot of sense to change now near the the end of the tourney. All the people entered have a established a level of expertise in 1.2, and to change would mean having to relearn lots of new stuff for the tourney.... This World Cup is for the 1.2 title... :) We will play on BI next World Cup... :D

But BI is Bi and RTW 1.3 is RTW 1.3, is different :p At bi all of us are noobs, but with rome, yes, with the patch is different, but the bassic things continue.( we know very well the factions ) If the next TWWC we will play at BI, i think that now we must play rtw 1.3, is a simple suggestion , regards.
