it seems that we have 9 players we require 8 may i suggest a round robin 2 x 1v1's against eamch other player - attack & defend 1 point for a victory the 8 with the most points make the team

a sub might be a good idea.... the tourney to work out the best 8 sounds good too.... do any of the aussies feel they won't be able to spare enough time to play- might save us time :shock:

I have given the go ahead for New Zealand and Australia to combine teams, as the Kiwis only have 2 players.... Beacause of proximity this confederation seems a natural fit... Thanks for the post Sparhawki... It is the Kiwis players responsibility to post here not yours m8... If Korhal is the only 1 so far after a week so far he may be the only one... Make a cutoff date for the other Kiwi and if he doesnt post then consider him out as if he had never registered... RTKCharlemagne

Fellow Aussies - we need to get this qualifying underway as we have 10 with Korhal, i doubt that we can carry 2 subs So far only James & Korhal have posted here can we please have a post here from the other 7 Aussies Thanks :D :D :D .

Im still here and still interested in qualifying for this team, i wouldn't mind however if i went as a sub if this team decided to have subs

You can have up to 2 alternates... HOWEVER After the first 2 games you will have to name a final team...ie there will be no more substituting.... Only a roster of 8 will be allowed after the first 2 games, and only that final roster of 8 will have their name on the trophy....The alternates are for emergency use only and once an alternate has been inserted into the roster, you will have to remove a player as well... In any event you will still have to name a roster and your alternates to start the tourney... RTKCharlemagne

so we can have subs, but after the firs two matchs, we need a permant roster of 8 and anyone less isn't on the team, correct?
